AGUANGA, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2012) – Impeachment, a son of Deputy Minister, will stand the 2013 breeding season at Fruitful Acres Farm for a $2,000 fee, with several discounts available.
The breeding will be free to all stakes-place mares in the state, all first-out maiden special weight winning mares and year-round boarded mares at Fruitful Acres Farm.
On the track, Impeachment finished third in the Kentucky Derby and Preakness in 2000, as well as the Arkansas Derby. A $250,000 yearling purchase, Impeachment was a first-out winner at 2 and the only 3-year-old of his crop to run in all three races of the Triple Crown.
At stud, the 15-year-old Impeachment has nine crops of foals with progeny earnings of more than $2.6 million, led by stakes winner and graded-stakes placed Scooter Girl. He stood at Rockin River Ranch in Iowa last year.
