ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 27, 2017) – Stakes winner Isa Firecracker and fellow California-bred Spin Me a Kiss are entered in Saturday’s $70,000 Unzip Me Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Isa Firecracker is by Heatseeker, out of the Tannersmyman mare Caroline Elena, was bred by owner Myles McMahon and is trained by Jamey Thomas. She has three wins in seven starts, earnings of $115,470 and is coming off a win in an Aug. 26 optional claimer.
Spin Me a Kiss is by Hard Spun, out of the Awesome Gambler mare River Kiss, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Francie Nilforushan and is trained by Phil D’Amato. She has three wins in six starts, earnings of $140,305 and is coming off consecutive allowance wins.
