John Woolsey Jr. Passes at 87

ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 23, 2011) -- Veterinarian Dr. John H. Woolsey, Jr., a member of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association since 1964, passed away at the age of 87.

One of his loves was horse racing and he and his former wife, Jackie, had much success in the field.  A few of their better remembered runners were Raise Your Skirts, Grenzen, and Ubetido.

He leaves five children, five step-children, 14 grandchildren, two great grand-children, and wife Linda.
