CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 17, 2014) – Spirit Rules is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Katella Stakes at Los Alamitos.
Spirit Rules is by Tribal Rule, out of the Danzatore mare Heavenly Lady, was bred by John and Allegra Ernst, is owned by Barbara Accardy, Craig Seidler, Jim Xitco and Mark Xitco and is trained by Paul Aguirre.
He has four wins in 13 starts, earnings of $207,328 and is coming off an eighth in the July 27 California Dreamin’.
