VINTON, La. (Nov. 20, 2016) – Odds-on favorite Kathballu, a Kentucky-bred daughter of California stallion Bluegrass Cat, won Saturday’s $75,000 Orleans Stakes for fillies and mares at Delta Downs.
Kathballu ran the seven furlongs in 1:26.11 and won by eight lengths as the 2-5 favorite in the field of eight.
Out of the Devil’s Bag mare Abba Gold, Kathballu has five wins in 21 starts and earnings of $296,864.
