TROTT Fundraiser March 7

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 26, 2010) -- Training Racehorses Off The Track (TROTT) will hold a fundraiser Sunday, March 7, at 5:30 p.m. at The Derby Restaurant in Arcadia.

In addition to dinner and drinks, there will be a silent and live auction, with Hall of Fame trainer Jack Van Berg as the auctioneer. Jockeys Mike Smith Chantal Sutherland and Victor Espinoza are expected to attend.

Among the items up for auction will be a Fred Stone Zenyatta canvas and prints, artwork by Mark Lewis and Kathy Pate, authenticated equipment used by Curlin and Lava Man, a horseback lunch ride and a wine tasting tour of Santa Ynez by Vino Vaqueros.

In addition, there will be boots signed by Espinoza, a signed Smith whip, Joe Talamo goggles and other collectibles.

Tickets can be purchased online at TrottUsa.org for the pre-sale price of $40, with discounts for multiple tickets. The price is $50 at the door, if space permits. Space is limited. The ticket price includes a signature wine glass.
