Bedford Falls Incentive Plan Offered

SANGER, Calif. (Jan. 19, 2010) -- Foals by the second-year California stallion Bedford Falls may be eligible for a new incentive program valued at $125,000, it was announced by the owning partnership.

Under the program, entitled "The $125,000 Bedford Falls Complete Bonus Package," breeders and owners of Bedford Falls foals who accomplish certain racing milestones may receive cash awards of $5,000, $12,500 or $25,000 each, depending upon the levels of racing success by those runners:

Breeder(s) of first 10 runners by Bedford Falls to break their maiden: $5,000 bonus each
Breeder of first runner by Bedford Falls to win a black-type stakes race: $12,500 bonus
Breeder of first runner by Bedford Falls to win a graded stakes race: $25,000 bonus

Owner�s Bonus:
Owner of first runner by Bedford Falls to win a black-type stakes race: $12,500 bonus
Owner of first runner by Bedford Falls to win a graded stakes race: $25,000 bonus

Bedford Falls is a multiple winner by Forestry who stands at Poplar Meadows in Sanger , California . The 7-year-old stallion, who sold for $1.1 million at the 2004 Keeneland September Yearling Sale and retired to stud in 2009, is a half-brother to the multiple Grade 1-winning sire Harlan�s Holiday, whose three crops have earned $9.3 million and include 2007 CashCall Futurity (G1) winner Into Mischief.

Bedford Falls� first foals will be 2-year-olds in 2012. His 2010 fee is $2,500, live foal guarantee.
