Luckarack vs. Contemplated in Juvenile

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2010) – Luckarack seeks his third stakes victory when he faces unbeaten Contemplated in Saturday’s $75,000 Bob Benoit California Cup Juvenile at Oak Tree at Hollywood Park.

Contemplated is by Bertrando, out of the Prized mare Kinky Kinky, was bred by owners Pam and Marty Wygod and trained by John Sadler. He won his lone start Aug. 11 and has earnings of $30,000.

Mr. Gennaro is by Lasersport, out of the Iam the Iceman mare Sea of Ice, was bred by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nicoletti, is owned by Gennaro Montanino and trained by Humberto Ascanio. The $3,000 Barretts purchase has one win in seven starts, earnings of $28,140 and is coming off a second in an Oct. 14 starter’s allowance.

Bluegrass Reward is by Good Reward, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Bluegrass Belle, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and trained by Steve Miyadi. He has one win in five starts, earnings of $19,180 and is coming off a second in an Oct. 1 starter’s allowance.

Warrens Good Storm is by Stormed, out of the Bolger mare Dolly Doogood, was bred by owner Benjamin Warren and trained by Jorge Gutierrez. He is coming off a maiden win in his second start Oct. 14 with earnings of $9,400.
