FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 8, 2012) – California freshman stallion Lucky J. H. was represented by his first winner Monday when Fermin Es Elegante won the sixth race at Fresno, a $12,500 maiden claimer.
Fermin Es Elegante is a 2-year-old gelding out of the Indian Charlie mare Luke’s Finest, was bred by Lorrie Anthony, is owned by Keith Hewitt and trained by Andy Mathis.
Fermin Es Elegante ran the mile on dirt in 1:39.92 and won by a length at odds of 2-5.
Lucky J. H., a graded winner by Cee’s Tizzy, stands at Harris Farms in Coalinga.
