Marsh Retrains Thoroughbreds

Barbara Marsh works with retrained Thoroughbred Danny Dingle, an 8-year-old son of Doneraille Court, a $100,000 purchase by Harry Aleo who won two of four starts before being retired.

Marsh held the demonstration Sept. 25 at the Harris Ranch Seminar outside of the Harris Farms Training barns.

Barbara's topic was Thoroughbreds and their Second Careers and Danny Dingle has become a jumper.

Marsh runs an equine program in Sonoma County, specializing in retraining ex-racehorses for new careers in dressage, jumping and pleasure; and in teaching their owners and riders about the unique characteristics, abilities, and needs of the off-the-track TB (OTTB).  She also starts young horses and tackles difficult training issues.
