Monument in BC Juvenile

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2012) – California-bred Monument drew post position No. 5 in the nine-horse field entered for Saturday’s $2 million Grade I Grey Goose Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita.

Monument is by Cindago, out of the Beautiful Crown mare Grant Marty a Wish, was bred by Lee and Susan Searing, is owned by CRK Stable, trained by John Sadler and will be ridden by Joe Talamo.

He has three wins in four starts, earnings of $195,500 and is coming off a win in the Oct. 13 Bob Benoit California Cup Juvenile.

The race is scheduled to be run at 2:36 p.m. (PT).
