ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 21, 2014) – Betty Grable Stakes winner More Complexity and fellow California-bred Uzziel are entered in Friday’s $300,000 Grade I La Brea Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Uzziel is by Harlington, out of the Lord At War mare Pretti Woman, was bred by owners James and Tammy McKenney and is trained by Mike Puype. She has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $153,138 and is coming off a sixth in a Nov. 28 allowance.
More Complexity is by Square Eddie, out of the Yonaguska mare Marquis Diamond, was bred by J. Paul Reddam, is owned by Reddam Racing and trained by Edward Freeman. She has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $214,970 and is coming off a win in the Nov. 9 Betty Grable.
