DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 26, 2014) – Grade I winner Tamarando is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade III Native Diver Stakes at Del Mar.
Tamarando is by Bertrando, out of the Dehere mare Tamarack Bay, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer.
He has four wins in 13 starts, earnings of $665,120 and is coming off a second in the Oct. 18 California Flag. He won last year’s Grade I Del Mar Futurity.
