NorCal Sale Grad in Green Flash

DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 13, 2011) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Excessive Passion and fellow California-breds Raetodandty and Earnednevergiven are entered in Wednesday’s $85,000 Green Flash Handicap at Del Mar.

Excessive Passion is by Vronsky, out of the In Excess mare Ms Hearts N Arrows, was bred by Old English Rancho & Berumen, is owned by Brown or Lebherz or Klein and is trained by Jeff Bonde. The $25,000 Northern California Yearling Sale purchase has four wins in seven starts, earnings of $143,940 and is coming off a win in the July 10 Sam J. Whiting Handicap.

Raetodandty is by Freespool, out of the Peyrano mare Yazor, was bred by Special T Thoroughbreds and is owned by trainer Val Brinkerhoff. The $1,300 Barretts purchase has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $157,311 and is coming off a fourth in the July 3 Robert Kerlan Memorial.

Earnednevergiven is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of the Falstaff mare Code It Nikki, was bred by Briere Thoroughbreds, is owned by PSC Holding Corp. and Quanson and is trained by Robertino Diodoro. The $150,000 Barretts purchase has eight wins in 28 starts, earnings of $405,374 and is coming off a fifth in the July 24 California Dreamin.
