NorCal Sale Grad in Gold Rush Stakes

ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 29, 2017) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Go Bobby Go is one of five California-breds entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Gold Rush Stakes for 2-year-olds at Golden Gate.

Generally Lucky is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the General Meeting mare Gn. Group Meeting, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steve Specht. He has three wins in eight starts, earnings of $54,853 and is coming off a second in the Nov. 11 Golden Nugget Stakes.

Night At the Opera is by Indian Evening, out of the Fusaichi Pegasus mare Talented, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $39,600 and is coming off a fifth in the Nov. 4 Golden State Juvenile.

Go Bobby Go is by Stormin Fever, out of the Siberian Summer mare Shalmarie, was bred by Shirley Ann Ragle, is owned by Robert Jones and trained by Faith Taylor. The $6,000 Northern California Yearling Sale graduate has one win in two starts, earnings of $28,080 and is coming off a third in the Nov. 11 Golden Nugget.

La Waun is by The Pamplemousse, out of the Kentucky Lucky mare Lucky Leah, was bred by owner Remmah Racing and is trained by Frank Lucarelli. He has one win in four starts, earnings of $22,836 and is coming off a sixth in the Nov. 11 Golden Nugget.

Vutzak is by Good Journey, out of the Touch Gold mare Lavender Touch, was bred by owner Gilman Racing and is trained by Andy Mathis. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $20,850 and is coming off a Nov. 4 maiden win.
