NorCal Sale Grad in Governor’s Cup

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 19, 2017) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Deb’s Wildcard takes on multiple stakes winner Fast and Foxy in Saturday’s $50,000 California Governor’s Cup Handicap for fillies and mares at Sacramento.

Princess Ashlyn is by Cyclotron, out of the Perugino mare Palace Royale, was bred by Old English Rancho & Berumen, is owned by Troy Onorato and is trained by John Martin. She has five wins in 18 starts, earnings of $102,810 and is coming off a July 2 allowance win.

Isa Firecracker is by Heatseeker, out of the Tannersmyman mare Caroline Elena, was bred by owner Myles McMahon and is trained by Jamey Thomas. She has two wins in four starts, earnings of $92,280 and is making her first start since a win the Nov. 25 Golden Gate Debutante.

Missionelle is by Silic, out of the Prized mare Mission Viejo, was bred by Nadine Anderson and is owned by trainer Andres Psarras. She has three wins in 19 starts, earnings of $56,265 and is coming off a July 1 starter’s allowance win.

Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Deb’s Wildcard is by Desert Code, out of the Demons Begone mare Deb’s Royal Flush, was bred by Victoria Polzin & Harris Farms, is owned by Robert Jones or Lloyd Mason and is trained by Faith Taylor. The $17,500 purchase from the Northern California Yearling Sale has six wins in 20 starts, earnings of $181,267 and is coming off a second in a June 25 allowance.

Ashley’s Sassy is by Decarchy, out of the Urgent Request mare Ashley’s Folly, was bred by owners Alesia, BranJam Stables & Ciaglia Racing and is trained by Andy Mathis. She has three wins in 18 starts, earnings of $207,360 and is coming off a June 2 allowance win.

Fast and Foxy is by Thisnearlywasmine, out of the Falstaff mare Zorra Roja, was bred by Daehling Ranch, is owned by Joe Daehling or Holly Evans and is trained by Evans. She has 15 wins in 42 starts, earnings of $446,133 and is coming off a sixth in the June 10 Albany.

Precious Time is by Grazen, out of the Tribal Rule mare Rule the Storm, was bred by Nick Alexander, is owned by McLean Racing Stables and is trained by Aggie Ordonez. She has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of $136,486 and is coming off a fourth in a June 25 allowance.
