Northern Causeway has First Foal

SAN MIGUEL, Calif. (Jan. 28, 2016)-Graded stakes winner Northern Causeway, standing at Rancho San Miguel, sired his first foal on Jan. 28, a filly out of the stakes-placed Swiss Bliss. Mike Harrington bred the filly, whose multiple winning dam won $122,210.

Farm manager Clay Murdock said, “I see lots of Giant’s Causeway expressed in her with that beautiful face and body.”

Northern Causeway, owned by Rozamund Barclay, is a graded stakes winner of $265,367 by sire-of-sires Giant’s Causeway, out of Getaway Girl (Silver Deputy). This is the immediate family of successful sires Ghostzapper and City Zip.

Northern Causeway covered 35 mares in 2015 and will once again stand for a $2,500 live foal fee payable October 1 of the year bred with no booking fee.
