Oak Tree at Pleasanton Thursday Cancelled

PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 20, 2017) – Due to an extreme heat wave that will peak Thursday, Oak Tree at Pleasanton live racing at the Alameda County Fairgrounds has been cancelled on Thursday, June 22. Please contact the Racing Office at (925) 426-7538 for further details.

July 4th will be an important day with a prominent stake race in the afternoon and the annual amazing fireworks display in the evening.

Saturday, July 1 — Juan Gonzalez Memorial Stakes 50,000 (Plus up to 15,000 to Cal-Breds). Fillies 2YO | 5 1/2 Furlongs.

Tuesday, July 4 — Oak Tree Sprint Handicap 50,000 ( Plus up to 15,000 to Cal-Breds). Open 3YO & Up | 3/4 Mile.

Saturday, July 8 — Everett Nevin Stakes (Cal-Bred) *100,000 (Cal-Bred)(Golden State Series). Fillies 2YO | 5 1/2 Furlongs; H. H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies World Championship Ladies Cup $41,000
This is an exciting race with Lady Jockeys coming from around the world to ride the horses in the race;

Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Arabian Cup Grade II – Emerald Arabian Triple Jewel, Second Leg $50,000. Both of these races will be televised live to Abu Dhabi.
