Obey Looking for Second Stakes Win

DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 23, 2015) – Obey, who won the CTBA Stakes, is one of five coming out of that race that are entered in Wednesday’s $150,000 Generous Portion Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 2-year-old fillies at Del Mar.

Swiss Affair is by Swiss Yodeler, out of the Bertrando mare Hollywood Affair, was bred by owner Rozamund Barclay and is trained by Mike Harrington. She has two wins in three starts, earnings of $57,480 and is coming off a win in the Aug. 13 starter optional claimer.

Just Google Me is by Stormin Fever, out of the Cryptoclearance mare Lila Paige, was bred by Golden Eagle Farm, is owned by CTR Stables and trained by Scott Rollins. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $42,000 and is coming off a third in the July 31 CTBA Stakes.

Later My Love is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Mr. Prospector mare Lavender Mine, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Jeff Bonde. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $52,600 and is coming off a second in the July 31 CTBA Stakes.

Obey is by Desert Code, out of the Wekiva Springs mare Spring Vacation, was bred by Woodbridge Farm and Glen Road Racing Stable, is owned by Ted Serna and trained by Sam Scolamieri. She has won both starts with earnings of $90,600 and is coming off a win in the July 31 CTBA Stakes.

Cajun Cookin is by Unusual Heat, out of the Jeune Homme mare Avranches, was bred by Barry Abrams, Madeline Auerbach and Marie Goda, is owned by KMN Racing and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She won her lone start Aug. 2 with earnings of $15,000.

Run for Retts is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Jump Start mare Mrs. Began, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and trained by Steve Miyadi. She won her lone start Aug. 15 with earnings of $42,000.

Sambamzajammin is by Heatseeker, out of the Capote mare Cinema Paradisa, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by Dickman Legacy Ranch and trained by John Brocklebank. She has one win in five starts, earnings of $67,310 and most recently was pulled up in the July 31 CTBA Stakes.

My Palmilla is by a Washington-bred by California stallion Tribal Rule, out of the Slewdledo mare Bella Campana, was bred by Mr. and Mrs. William Griffin, is owned by Linear Bannasch & Rodney Orr and is trained by Mark Glatt. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $42,250 and is coming off a 10th in the July 31 CTBA Stakes.

Patriotic Diamond is by Hat Trick, out of the Whywhywhy mare Patriotic Viva, was bred by Kin Hui Racing Stables, is owned by Diamond 100 Racing Club and is trained by Patrick Biancone. She is a maiden making her second start with earnings of $14,000.
