ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 21, 2016) –Today OwnerView officially opened registration for the third edition of the Thoroughbred Owner Conference being held at Santa Anita Park, October 31 – November 3, 2016, the same week as the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. The upcoming conference promises to entertain attendees, to inform them about important issues related to Thoroughbred ownership, and to provide multiple opportunities for guests to network and socialize with industry leaders, speakers and other owners.
The business panels, topics and speakers have been finalized, and this next conference is shaping up to be another great event for owners on every level. Some of the speakers invited are top industry trainers, jockeys and owners, including Bob Baffert, Richard Mandella, Art Sherman, Gary Stevens, Mike Smith, Laffit Pincay, Dean Reeves, Barbara Banke, and John Amerman.
As an added bonus, on behalf of the Breeders’ Cup, you will receive one Grandstand Reserved seating ticket as part of your Thoroughbred Owner Conference registration for both Breeders’ Cup World Championships racing days on November 4 and 5. “We are thrilled to be aligning the Thoroughbred Owner Conference with the Breeders’ Cup World Championships,” remarked Gary Falter, VP of Operations for the The Jockey Club and OwnerView. “This is a place on the calendar when owners from around the country can not only enjoy the world championships of Thoroughbred racing, but can take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about ownership and network and socialize with other owners and industry executives from around the country. - The Breeders’ Cup Post-Position Draw & Reception on Monday, October 31
- Breeders’ Cup Breakfast Marquee near Clockers Corner on November 1
- Conference Dinner & Reception on November 1
- Lunch on November 1 & 2
- A reception featuring Racing Syndicates from across the U.S. on November 2
- Tour opportunities at the Rose Bowl and LA Arboretum on November 3 along with an afternoon of lunch and live racing
- Reserved seating for both days of championship racing, November 4 & 5
Registrations are being taken for the full conference at $750/person. For spouses and partners who are interested in attending just the social events, we added a registration for social events at only $400/person. Both types of registrations include the Breeders’ Cup tickets.
