P Club Enters Honor the Hero

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (May 27, 2017) – P Club is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $50,000 Honor the Hero Stakes at Canterbury Park.

P Club is by Bushwacker, out of the Nor For Love mare Sheila’s Prospect, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Jerome & Kristina Russell and is trained by Ryan Kenney. He has two wins in 15 starts, earnings of $84,704 and is coming off a seventh in an Apr. 24 allowance.

On the also-eligible list for main track only is Cal-bred World Famous Sam T, by Misty’sgoldentouch, out of the Olympio mare Yo Sal, bred by Laura Bailey and owned by trainer Troy Bethke. He has 14 wins in 38 starts, earnings of $158,772 and is coming off a fifth in the May 6 Paul Bunyan. He was seventh in this race in 2015.
