Paddock Magazine Now Online

ARCADIA, Calif. (Aug. 23, 2012) – The 2012 edition of the Paddock Magazine has been published by the Oak Tree Racing Association and is available online at www.oaktreeracing.com

The lead story in the edition, “Building Upon Strong Roots,” is written by veteran racing columnist Bill Christine and chronicles the 44-year history of the Oak Tree Racing Association.

Also included is a profile of Dr. Rick Arthur, an Oak Tree director and the equine medical director of the California Horse Racing Board; a tribute to the 75th anniversary of Del Mar Thoroughbred Club; a profile of owner Samantha Siegel by Jay Hovdey of the Daily Racing form; a look back at the eight Breeders’ Cups held in Southern California by equine journalist Lisa Groothedde; and a profile of Bil Spawr, trainer of Eclipse winner Amazombie.
