RUIDOSO DOWNS, N.M. (May 24, 2016) – Popalicious is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $50,000 First Lady Handicap for fillies and mares at Ruidoso Downs.
Popalicious is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Forestry mare Sea Poppy, was bred by Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, is owned by Solitaire Stable, Skyler Kelley, Alan Aldrich and Tom Mansor and is trained by Henry Dominguez.
She has seven wins in 30 starts, earnings of $284,743 and is coming off a seventh in the May 2 Budweiser Stakes. She was third in this race last year.
