ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (July 23, 2017) – Ranger Rod is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Duke City Sprint Stakes for 3-year-olds at Albuquerque.
Ranger Rod is by Chattahoochie War, out of the Malibu Moon mare Night Teller, was bred by owner Gallegos del Norte racing and is trained by Jose Gonzalez, Jr.
He has two wins in 11 starts, earnings of $25,118 and is coming off a fourth in a June 10 allowance.
