SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 15, 2016) – California stallion and Grade II winner Rendezvous was represented by his first winner on Friday when Meeting in Heaven won the fourth race at Sacramento, a maiden claimer.
Meeting in Heaven is out of the Doc’s Leader mare Doc’s Lil’ Angel, was bred by Laura Ann Franklin, is owned by Carrol Stubbs and trained by Armando Lage.
The 3-year-old gelding ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:47.36 and won by three-quarters of a length at odds of 7-2.
