DEL MAR, Calif. (July 20, 2018) — California stallion Richard’s Kid was represented by his first winner when Mama’s Kid won the sixth race on Thursday at Del Mar, a maiden special weight for California-bred 2-year-old fillies.
Mama’s Kid is out of the Restless Con mare Mama’s Con, was bred by Geri Forrester, is owned by Tricar Stables and trained by Sal Gonzalez.
She ran the five furlongs in :59.01 and won by 3 ½ lengths at odds of 17-1 in a field of eight.
Richard’s Kid stands at Magali Farms.
