LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 11, 2012) – A colt out of California-bred Grade I winner River’s Prayer sold for $400,000 in Monday’s first session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
The Kentucky-bred Distorted Humor colt was purchased by K.K. Eishindo.
River’s Prayer is a 9-year-old mare by Devon Lane who won the Grade I Princess Rooney Handicap with total earnings of $921,958. She also won the Grade III Rancho Bernardo and Las Cienegas handicaps, the Cinderella and Great Lady M stakes and Cal-bred stakes Cal Cup Distaff, Irish O’Brien and Fleet Treat.
River’s Prayer has two others foals, none to race.
