Rousing Sermon Enters Tiznow

ARCADIA, Calif. (May 20, 2015) – Rousing Sermon is the high earner among entrants in Saturday’s $150,000 Tiznow Stakes for Golden State Series eligibles on the Gold Rush card at Santa Anita.

Solid Wager is by Birdonthewire, out of the Valid Wager mare G Ma, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Gary and Cecil Barber and Stanford Stables and is trained by Peter Miller. He has four wins in 17 starts, earnings of $177,750 and is coming off a fourth in an Apr. 10 optional claimer.

Spirit Rules is by Tribal Rule, out of the Danzatore mare Heavenly Lady, was bred by John and Allegra Ernst, is owned by Murphy, Accardy, Seidler, Xitco and Xitco and is trained by Paul Aguirre. He has five wins in 18 starts, earnings of $339,378 and is coming off a fourth in the Apr. 11 Kona Gold.

Toledo Eddie is an Idaho-bred by California stallion Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Cape Town mare Cape Town Charmer, was bred by Billingsley Creek Ranch, is owned by Art Elbert and trained by Craig Dollase.
