TORONTO, Canada (Oct. 25, 2014) – Savvy Hester, a Kentucky-bred daughter of California stallion Heatseeker, won Saturday’s $111,200 River Memories Stakes for fillies and mares at Woodbine.
Savvy Hester is out of the Miswaki mare Changeable. She has five wins in 24 starts, earnings of $3890,187 and was coming off a seventh in the Sept. 14 Canadian Stakes.
She ran the mile on turf in 1:36.69 and won by a head at odds of 4-1.
