ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2017) – Sheer Pleasure is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Santa Maria Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Sheer Pleasure is by Birdonthewire, out of the Blare of Trumpets mare Kathryns Birthday, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Little Red Feather Racing or RM Racing and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
She has four wins in 14 starts, earnings of $427,375 and is coming off a third in the Jan. 21 Santa Monica.
