Shudacudawudya Takes Jess Jackson

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (Aug. 6, 2012) – Shudacudawudya passed the field through the stretch with a bold rally to win Sunday’s $66,850 Jess Jackson Owners’ Handicap at Santa Rosa.

Shudacudawudya is by Marino Marini, out of the Cutlass Reality mare Sunny Miss, was bred by owner Brett Mason and is trained by Lloyd Mason.

He has eight wins in 17 starts, earnings of $287,869 and was coming off a third in the July 4 Sam J. Whiting Memorial. He ran the five furlongs on turf in :58.04 and won by a neck over favored Cal-bred Ain’t No Other.
