Singing Kitty Wins Unzip Me Stakes

ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2015) – California-bred Singing Kitty rallied three-wide to win Saturday’s $86,170 Unzip Me Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Singing Kitty is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Natural Singer R N, was bred by Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, is owned by Chris Aulds and Peter Jeong and is trained by Matthew Chew.

She has five wins in 12 starts, earnings of $320,988 and was coming off a second in the Aug. 14 Sandy Blue.

Singing Kitty ran the about 6 ½ furlongs down the hillside turf course in 1:13.34 and won by 1 ¼ lengths at odds of 9-1.
