Sisters in Exacta at Santa Anita

ARCADIA, Calif. (July 4, 2017) – California-bred full sisters Dis Smart Cat and Discatsonthesquare finished first and second in the eighth race at Santa Anita on Tuesday, a $70,820 optional claimer for fillies and mares.

Both runners are by Square Eddie, out of the Menifee mare Categorize, were bred by Kevin De Vincenzi, owned by Papagallo Racing Stables and trained by Matthew Chew.

Dis Smart Cat ran the six furlongs in 1:10.73 and won by one-half length at odds of 7-2.
