ELMONT, N.Y. (June 7, 2017) – Graded winner Solid Wager is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $1.2 million Grade I Mohegan Sun Metropolitan Mile at Belmont Park.
Solid Wager is by Birdonthewire, out of the Valid Wager mare G Ma, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Gary Barber and trained by Peter Miller.
He has eight wins in 34 starts, earnings of $507,671 and is coming off a fourth in the May 6 Churchill Downs Stakes.
