Solid Wager Seeks Cary Grant Repeat

                DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2016) – Defending champ Solid Wager and multiple stakes winners Gold Rush Dancer, Acceptance and Magic Mark are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Cary Grant Stakes for Golden State Series eligible at Del Mar.

                Tengas Ransom is by Tenga Cat, out of the Dixie Union mare Precious Union, was bred by Grant and Paul Truman, is owned by Truline Racing and trained by Jeff Mullins. He has two wins in 10 starts, earnings of $130,485 and is coming off a win in an Oct. 14 optional claimer.

                Magic Mark is by Benchmark, out of the Deputy Governor mare Jewel Magic, was bred by owners Dorine and John Lanza and is trained by Ron Ellis. He has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of $353,969 and is coming off a third in the Nov. 3 Big Bear. He was fifth in this race in 2014.

                Lucky J Lane is by Lucky J. H., out of the Emerald Jig mare No Peso No Dance, was bred by Sky Chase Farm, is owned by e-Racing.com and is trained by Brian Koriner. He has five wins in 23 starts, earnings of $272,520 and is coming off a 10th in an Oct. 30 optional claimer.

                Tough But Nice is by Good Journey, out of the Vindication mare Try to Be Nice, was bred by BG Stables, is owned by BG Stable or Palma and is trained by Hector Palma.
