Sought After Passes at 15

ELK GROVE, Calif. (Aug. 31, 2015) — California stallion Sought After, sire of Grade I winner Masochistic and multiple stakes winner Control Seeker, was euthanized after developing severe laminitis in both front legs. He was 15.

The unraced son of Seeking the Gold, who stood at Daehling Ranch, had 10 crops with progeny earnings of more than $2.6 million.

Masochistic is his leading earner with winnings of $583,850, including wins in the Grade I Triple Bend and the Grade II Kona Gold Stakes, as well as a second in the Grade I Bing Crosby.
