CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2014) — Sprague River is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Las Madrinas Stakes for fillies and mares at Los Alamitos.
Sprague River is by Tribal Rule, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Tina’s Love, was bred by Carl Asadurian, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller.
She has two wins in six starts, earnings of $69,666 and is coming off a sixth in the Sept. 6 Beverly J. Lewis Stakes.
