BONSALL, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2014) – Square Eddie, sire of multiple stakes winner Sprouts, will stand for a $10,000 fee for the 2015 breeding season at Vessels Stallion Farm.
The 8-year-old son of Smart Strike was a Grade I winner at the age of 2 and runner-up in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. He has two crops of racing age, with progeny earnings of more than $1.2 million and average earnings per starter of $38,157 for 34 runners.
From a first season foal crop of 32, Square Eddie sired five stakes horse: Sprouts, Electric Eddie, Smoove It, Eddies Curl and Eddie’s First.
