Stallion Decarchy Passes at 20

SANTA YNEZ, Calif. (Aug. 2, 2017) — It is with a sad heart Magali Farm announces the passing of 20-year- old stallion Decarchy, a Graded stakes winner of $703,862, who suffered complications of laminitis.

A half-brother to proven sires Empire Maker and Chester House, his progeny amassed over $14 million lifetime, led by Graded Stakes winner Stoney Fleece ($600,028). Decarchy’s average earnings per runner is $55,249.

“Decarchy passed many wonderful qualities on to his progeny, his individualism, athleticism, willing heart, drive, and kind disposition. It was an honor to be a part of his life he will be truly missed,” said Magali Farms manager Tom Hudson.
