Stallion Stormin Fever Pensioned

PIRU, Calif. (July 25, 2016) – California stallion Stormin Fever has been pensioned by owner Golden Eagle Farm.

The 22-year-old son of Storm Cat stood this year at Rancho Temescal.

On the track, Stormin Fever earned 484,664 and won eight races, highlighted by the Grade III Sport Page Handicap at Aqueduct.

Among his progeny are millionaires Fusaichi Auster and Sweet Talker and Canadian champion Biofuel. He’s had 15 crops to race with nine graded winners and total earnings of more than $30 million.

Stormin Fever stood in Kentucky until Golden Eagle purchased him in 2008. He was moved to Rancho Temescal when Golden Eagle Farm in Ramona closed in 2014.
