ARCADIA, Calif. (May 12, 2014) — Top Fortitude, a 3 year old colt owned and bred by Triple AAA Ranch delivered a decisive upset victory in the Lazaro Barrera Stakes at Santa Anita.
Going off as the second longest shot in the field at 30-1, the 3 year old colt pulled away from the field in the stretch and completed the 7 furlong race on the dirt course in a final time of 122.98 with a 1-1/2 length winning margin. Top Fortitude’s stakes victory comes in only his third career start.
