Steamy Story in Gold Cup

WINNIPEG, Canada (Sept. 11, 2012) – Steamy Story is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Gold Cup Stakes at Assiniboia Downs.

Steamy Story is by Unusual Heat, out of the Mari’s Book mare Short Stories, was bred by Ed Allred and is owned by trainer Guy Kling.

He has 14 wins in 62 starts, earnings of $153,275 and is coming off a third in an Aug. 29 claimer.
