Stormin Fever’s First Cal Crop Winners

RAMONA, Calif. (June 13, 2012) – Stormin Fever has had two winners in the last week at Betfair Hollywood Park, the only two starters from his first crop of California-bred foals.

The filly, Jilly Bailey, won a $50,000 maiden claimer by 8 ¾ lengths on Thursday. The Barretts graduate is out of the Out of Place mare Out of a Dream, was bred by Lamonte Isom and is owned by Marty Ladin.

The colt, Salty Evergreen, is a homebred of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams out of the Lord Carson mare Lady Evergreen. He won a Cal-bred maiden special weight race on Sunday.
