Stormin Fever Passes at 23

ARCADIA, Calif. (June 22, 2017) — Pensioned California stallion Stormin Fever, owned by Golden Eagle Farm, was euthanized June 22, 2017 due to the infirmities of old age. He was 23.

Stormin Fever, was a graded stakes winner and earned $484,664.  Upon race retirement, Stormin Fever stood in Kentucky until Golden Eagle Farm purchased him in 2008.  He retired from the breeding shed in 2016 with over $30 million in progeny earnings including millionaires Fusaichi Auster and Sweet Talker, and sired Canadian Champion and Horse of the Year Biofuel.
