Sunday Rules Risks Streak in Fleet Treat

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 23, 2014) – Stakes winner Sunday Rules risks her unbeaten record in Saturday’s $200,000 Fleet Treat Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 3-year-old fillies at Del Mar.

Sprouts is by Square Eddie, out of the Yankee Victor mare Ann Summers Gold, was bred by J. Paul Reddam, is owned by Reddam Racing and trained by Edward Freeman. She has three wins in nine starts, earnings of $196,790 and is coming off a second in the June 22 Betamerica.com Oaks.

Sunday Rules is by Tribal Rule, out of the General Meeting mare Sunday Dress, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Phil Amato. She has won all three of her starts with earnings of $175,740. She won last year’s Generous Portion Stakes at Del Mar.

Bonus Spin is by Hard Spun, out of the Two Punch mare Two Punch Gal, was bred by Thomas Bachman, is owned by Michael Whieldon and trained by Jeff Mullins. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $44,800 and is coming off a June 21 maiden win.
