OZONE PARK, N.Y. (Apr. 2, 2016) – California-bred Sweetrayofsunshine took command turning for home and won Saturday’s $70,000 Xtra Heat Stakes for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
Sweetrayofsunshine is by Benchmark, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Tialinga, was bred by Black Diamond Racing and is owned by trainer David Jacobson.
She has 11 wins in 24 starts, earnings of $276,462 and was coming off a second in a Mar. 13 allowance at Santa Anita.
