ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2012) – California-bred Grade I winner Teddy’s Promise drew the rail for Saturday’s $1 million Grade I Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint at Santa Anita.
Teddy’s Promise is by Salt Lake, out of the Capote mare Braids and Beads, was bred by owners Ted and Judy Nichols, trained by Ron Ellis and will be ridden by Joe Talamo.
She has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of $424,681 and is coming off a fourth in the Oct. 13 Cal Cup Distaff.
The race is scheduled to be run at 12:35 p.m. (PT).
