EDMONTON, Canada (July 19, 2014) — The Spinmeister, a Kentucky-bred son of California stallion Heatseeker, won Saturday’s $48,740 Count Lathum Handicap for 3-year-olds at Northlands Park.
The Spinmeister has four wins in seven starts, earnings of $76,844 and was coming off a seventh in the June 21 Ky Alta Handicap.
He ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:46.23 and won by 6 1/2 lengths at odds of $3.45-1.
