LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 21, 2015) — The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced that the 30th annual National Awards Dinner will be held Friday, Sept. 11 at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms near Lexington.

The dinner honors owners and breeders from 24 states and Canada, four Regional Owners of the Year, National Owner of the Year, two National Breeders of the Year, Broodmare of the Year, Rood & Riddle Sport Horse of the Year, and the recipient of the Robert N. Clay Award that recognizes a member of the Thoroughbred racing community who has made an outstanding contribution to preserving land for equine use.

“We are honored that Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms will host this year’s National Awards Dinner,” said Dan Metzger, president of TOBA, in a release. “Hill ‘n’ Dale provided a spectacular setting for our 2007 dinner and we are excited to return for what promises to be a special evening honoring the leading owners and breeders in Thoroughbred racing.”

“We’re excited to have the breeders, the very ones who support our stallions, on the farm for what should be a great night,” said Hill ‘n’ Dale general manager Jared Burdine.

The dinner is sponsored by Stoll Keenon Ogden, Stronach Group and Adena Springs, H.E. “Tex” Sutton Forwarding Company, Jackson Family Wines, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Woodford Reserve, Zoetis, FLAIR Nasal Strips, NTRA/John Deere, Blood-Horse, and Daily Racing Form.
