Top Trio Returns for Tiznow

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 21, 2010) – The top three finishers in the race last year (Liberian Freighter, Star Nicholas and Bestdressed) are back for Saturday’s $150,000 Tiznow Stakes on the Gold Rush card at Hollywood Park.

Liberian Freighter is by Bertrando, out of the Slewpy mare Anachristina, was bred by King Edward Racing Stable, is owned by Shawn Dugan, King Edward and Charles Winner and is trained by Neil Drysdale. He has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of $416,130 and is coming off a fifth in the Feb. 28 Crystal Water, his third race since winning the Tiznow last year.
